The LSAT has evolved (like a virus) since the ancient exams from 20+ years ago in the first book of 10, so it's *really* important to get the newest exams. If you're reading this sometime between 2017-2020, you should probably complete this test as a timed test a week or two before Test Day.This exam is not yet published in a book of 10, so it's pretty expensive....BUT IT'S WORTH IT. A small investment of about 10 bucks can pay off big time for your law school future (and potential scholarship $$$).Once LSAC publishes this in a book of 10 exams (which they'll probably do after publishing PT81 after the June 2017 LSAT), don't get all these individual exams. That'd be a big waste of money. It'll be a MUCH better deal to get the book of 10 containing 72-81.Other books of 10 you should probably get (72-80 are only available individually right now):62-7152-61Also, you should know that LSAT exams 66-present are *the only* ones that give you 2 pages for Logic Games. Before 66, each test only gave you one page for each Logic Game and related questions. Now, they give you two. Pretty cool, right?Happy studying! Feel free to reach out if you need any help with your prep.

You get exactly what you pay for. It's as useful and accurate as all the other PrepTests from LSAC. However, I would strongly recommend buying their physical booklets that contain 10 PrepTests. Much better bang for your buck. Also it can be annoying when dealing with Kindle. Slow to start up, crashes more frequently than I would like, and it's definitely a different interface than what you will see on the actual test. Great for getting started while waiting for the physical books to arrive, but for a more accurate experience get those books.

this practice test is great if you have issues with timing yourself. For me I always buy prep books and don't even read through the whole thing, but this test booklet just cuts out the bs. It's important to time yourself while using this, it helps when taking the actual exam. Makes great practice!

I'm currently studying nonstop for the lsat - this is legit test forms from years past and is the best prep you can do. Totally worth the money. Invaluable practice!

I really like how you were able to learn from someone who's actually done it and learned from past mistakes. Actual, hands on experience is much more important to me than just mere knowledge of a subject, and the author really delivers that in this book.

It's a 3$ book so it's short, but fortunately he skips the fluff latent in longer books.On one hand he covered some simple passive income ideas enough to get cracking on your own, on the other hand he touched on them briefly as to feel like he's dangling a carrot in front of you that you'll get from buying subsequent Ebooks, it was subtle.I feel like it's worth the 3$ although I would've liked detail on his processes more, say combining 3 or 4 of his other Ebooks and seeking them for 10$ or something.

One of the best books I've read. I've been reading the book and at the same time checking what youtubers and other people are doing on the internet, didn't notice all this until reading the book. Now I feel confidence on what to do and start my youtube channel. Will definitely read this book again and squeeze every knowledge out of it and start applying as soon as possible. Thanks for such a helpful and easy to read book.

The author provided many great ideas, and a lot of information about specific resources he used, which was fantastic. I appreciated the series of crash courses on SEO, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and Kindle. The only criticism I would give is that the book was a but under-organized and tried to cover a bit too broad of a scope for its size. The ending covers various business models that were not at all passive, like running an e-commerce website and hourly consulting. All-in-all, this book is a worthy read. I plan to read it again soon, because it's a bit detail-heavy in places, and I don't want to have missed anything!

Quick read, but has some useful tips for alternate sources of income. This book will whet your appetite on the topic, but is more of a general overview of a multitude of options, not a detailed dive into any one avenue. Based on the information though, anyone can be on their way to generating passive income.

The most interesting part of this book is the pictures that comprise the second half of the book. For dozens of different density levels (ranging from less than one dwelling unit per acre to over 200 units per acre) the book shows photographs of several examples. Usually, the book shows both attractive and less attractive examples of a given density.These pictures reveal a variety of surprises. For example, when one thinks of houses looking as if they are packed together, one might think of high density- but where big houses are next to each other instead of being separated by trees or grass, they can appear unpleasantly crammed even at one or two units per acre. On the other hand, a tree canopy can make a neighborhood with a dozen houses per acre look fairly spacious.Another surprise is that high density doesn't necessarily have to mean apartments or high rises- there are small-house and row-house neighborhoods with 20-50 dwelling units per acre, while some high-rise areas are not tremendously dense (due to the presence of plazas and parking lots where buildings could be).Though much of the text reiterates well-worn arguments for more compact development, some of it addresses a genuinely interesting question: why do neighborhoods of identical densities vary in attractiveness? The book suggests that less attractive neighborhoods tend to (1) have fewer shade trees, (2) have less variety in housing types, and/or (3) are less walkable (because streets are not interconnected enough for people to walk to neighbors' houses, or because commercial areas are not within walking distance).

The book aims to link perceived density to measured density by providing a catalogue of 250 neighbourhoods from the US, each example illustrated with four aerial images, a street pattern diagram and a dwelling density measure in units per acre. This is not an uncommon attempt to provide a tool helping the understanding of the relationship between urban density measures and built form outcomes, several such catalogues having been published in the last decades internationally.The strength of this particular density catalogue is the extensive high quality aerial imagery. However, there are many limitations to its usefulness. Firstly, we normally perceive neighbourhoods from ground level, not from the air, but no eye level imagery is provided. The second key problem is that scale, a key aspect of any density measure, is not consistently used. While the book refers to neighbourhoods, the provided density measure of units per acres has been often calculated for a single block only, and is not clear whether is net or gross. For homogeneous suburban neighbourhoods this is not a major problem, but for the diverse inner urban areas the density of a single block can widely differ from that of the neighbourhood. Thirdly, it would have been fair to warn the reader of the multiple limitations of the used density measure of units per acre, such as that the presence or absence of non-residential uses is ignored, that the actual size of a unit is ignored, or that family size can largely vary from one neighbourhood to another, and thus the density of people might compare differently than the density of units. Finally, the street pattern diagrams provide only limited information, as street widths -a key aspect of neighbourhood density- are not accurately represented, a scale bar is not provided, and there are inconsistencies between the scales (such as between New York and Seattle). In the end is not surprising that all key books and research papers about density are missing from the list of references.Overall the book is an interesting attempt to help a better understanding of density, with many impressive images, but falls well short of seriously documenting the chosen neighbourhoods, and risks confusing the reader.

I like the book. It does have a scattering of examples and could have more numerous examples, but this would be a different book. As is, it provides a concise look at American building form unbiased toward a specific style (Such as books that only showcase new urbanist designs). In addition, it is an easy read.

This book is far more useful than many textbooks. It very clearly describes its eponymous objective. HIGHLY recommended for anyone interested in alternatives to the sprawling status quo.

I found this book to be very helpful. It’s a good book for beginners. I like that it’s concise and doesn’t have a lot of filler that’s confusing or repetitive. If you’re working with 3ds Max, or even similar packages, I think this book holds some insight. I’ve tried a few different modeling packages, but somehow Max just seemed to click better for me. Maybe it’s because it was the first one I started learning with, or maybe it’s popular for a reason. Not sure, but I think it’s a very capable product (especially for game development). 3ds Max Modeling for Games shows you how to do some basic (and not so basic) modeling tasks in the app. I found the instruction to be detailed and clear, though at times it can be very specific to the package.So what does Andrew Gahan show you here? Well, he goes through some basics of working with the 3ds Max interface, terminology for game art, and texturing. Then he shows how to create, unwrap, and texture a simple model. Creating a more complex model (sort of a floor sweeper thing), vegetation and alpha maps, a low-poly vehicle, normal mapping techniques, an entire 3D environment, and finally a high and low poly character. Quite a good assortment of chapters and each one was fully fleshed out.I did appreciate that the author goes through each step, even simple stuff other books may gloss over. In some cases, as I started reading I was questioning the method he was using, but eventually he made it work. While the text is very focused on the one specific application, I do think that artists (or aspiring artists) could glean knowledge from the techniques and apply them to other packages. However, this would not be the first book I went to if I was using Maya or whatever.Overall I feel like I learned a couple neat tricks, and after reading the book I feel a little more confident in my modeling skills. Will really need to put this to the test soon, as I’ve been dying to create some nice art to work with building graphic demos and whatnot. Looking at programmer art all day is just not as motivating. I have plans of creating a realistic-style apartment, and I think it’s something reasonable to get finished. Down the road, I’d love to do a full character, but I’ve always struggled with this in the past. At least now that I’ve switched to Unreal, I can free up some of my effort to focus on art since I know the engine will support whatever I throw in there (and make it look good!). Looking forward to checking the Volume II in the series shortly.

I bought the first edition of this book and was initially going to give it two to three stars due to the terrible chapter on normal maps, written no less by a guest writer and not the author himself.Upon seeing there was a new edition however, I ordered it and saw that it contains new material, including updates to the offending chapters and am happy to now give it 5 stars. It is a real improvement, and though the chapters have been changed since the first edition (for example, the said normal mapping is now in the later parts of the book), the content overall is top notch, and matches the selection of the subject matter making it the perfect source.What makes this book/volume worth its weight in gold is the breath of materials it covers while still giving you the depth necessary. It assumes you already have a background in 3ds Max and is indeed a perfect complement to it after you learned the basics. Although it is intended for 3D for games as the title suggests, what you learn is applicable to all aspects of 3D, particularly topics that are the most common and fundamental in modeling that other books do not cover.For example, one of the better books in Max is Poly-Modeling for 3DSMax, which has good content for nuances in modeling, but the forgettable lessons there are matched only by the author refusing to even discuss UV mapping when even a single chapter would have helped a lot. Ditto for other books which are either too shallow and generalized, or simply don't have enough meat. They just don't hold a candle compared to this book (now, the first volume in a set of two), which covers what you need to know while covering all necessary aspects not just for games but 3D modeling in general.I can't wait to read the next volume.

As another reviewer here stated, this book very frequently skips over some very important steps. If you're using it in a classroom setting (as I did and many others presumably are), this may very well be a non-issue. Don't count on it for help if you're a beginner using it outside the classroom, though. While it covers a LOT of modeling techniques, it skips over things that it must be assuming your professor will simultaneously teach you in greater depth as you read it.

This book is Not for beginners. I am a student in making Games and Simulations and I got this book in high expectations. It does go deeper in how materials are used, cameras, lighting, and surface mapping. It shows you how characters are developed and background maps are produced. It shows more how to UV Unwrap and such. But its advanced. Learn first how to make a biped from a box that looks halfway real, then animate it with all the colors, textures and such. Then your ready for this book.

Book would be great if you could actually download the files that it says to.Seller should provide this info and knock down the price a ton.

To clarify a few things right from the beginning: The author of this book is clearly a very strong 3D artist, but there are some serious problems with this book as it pertains to it being advertised as book to beginning this type of modeling.If I had been a reasonably experienced modeler, specifically with 3ds Max, this book would likely be more effective. But the fact of the matter is that the author frequently skips important steps, apparently assuming that you will just know to do these things based on the random small pictures and vague narratives.I would not recommend this book for a beginner or even a moderately experienced 3dsMax user/artist.

How disappointing for children to know that their mother knows the surprise all along.

My daughter was very upset that we didn't have a book to read for Mother's Day so we purchased this book and we will read it every year on Mother's Day until she gets older. It is a great story and exactly what you would expect from the Berenstain Bears.

Brought this over to my grandkids yesterday and I read it the first time through. Then my 8 year granddaughter read it to me; her 5 year old sister then read it to the both of us (sort of).

Granddaughter loves these books and I read one every morning to her. She is quick to let me know which ones she still needs for her collection.
