The Whole Cake Island Arc nears it's finally with Volume 88 of One Piece. As with the other volumes set in the Whole Cake Islands the artwork is truly something special, with food being incorporated in both the setting buildings and the shapes of the islands themselves as well as the Big Mom Pirates.But the big star of this volume is the many transformations in it, it both treat visually and emotionally. I won't spoil any of them but if you enjoy that sort of thing I think you'll be very happy with Volume 88. A fun side effect of the transformations and confrontations is it goes a long way to making Big Mom seem like a true powerhouse of the One Piece universe, without making discrediting her or changing her personality. Well done Of a, keep up the awesome work. One final thing is between this volume and the last it makes a great case as to why Jinbei will be a Straw Hat and what he offers to the crew beyond being another capable fighter. It's always a plus when other characters get have have their time in the spotlight. I have been MickManga and I hope you all have a great day.

This volume on its own is just so-so. It continues the Katakuri vs. Luffy fight and Big Mom chasing after the wedding cake by following the Thousand Sunny but doesn't finish any of these plot threads. This is a volume that is just a connective tissue. If you're a fan of this series it is a must have but it lacks any climax. and you may be better served to wait and buy this volume in tandem with volumes 89 & 90 when they release. Volume 90 releases in May for reference.

I received it the day it was released and it came in perfect condition. One Piece is the greatest thing ever!!!

This guide is right sized to fit easily into one of your touring packs. The pages are rugged, bright and easy to read. Lots of color, pictures and detail. The arrow coding of hills along the route is great.Some recommended improvements include a better color coding system for showing routes, pavements, traffic, etc. The colored maps are great, but having most of the minor roads in white make them hard to find on the map since they blend into the background. The city map of Viareggio is deceptive since the map, signage and city limits don't seem in synch. The narrow vertical maps are sometimes difficult to use since they cut off perspective of the surrounding areas. A route from Siena to Cortona would have been nice. The route from Radda to Siena misses a lot of great stuff in the area.

This is a very useful manual

I bought this for a friend of mine who restores old cars. 1964 is over 50 years old now, so these books are actually rare. He loved it.

Useless for my El camino.

My husband needed this book ASAP to work on his El Camino. It was a very good price, was in excellent condition, and arrived when expected. I would definitely order from this seller again.

I've been a shade tree mechanic on and off for over 40 years. (More off than on.) As a teen, Dad and I kept busy every weekend doing tune-ups, oil changes, shocks and tires and other light mechanical work in our residential garage. It brought in a small amount of extra cash and helped out a lot of the guys stationed with my dad at March AFB, Califoria. This was long before the days of Jiffy Lube and the like.Chilton manuals were one of the three things that made our weekend lives easier, the others being our local NAPA jobber and Sears Craftsman hand tools.Things being the way they are, I've had to start doing more of my own mechanical work again as I just can't afford many trips to the mechanic.For instance, my wife's '81 El Camino, 'Pink Lady', has a leaking heater core. A good shop that does those wants $350 to change it out. The heater core is $29 at both NAPA and Pep Boys. Doing it myself, I bought this book, new hoses, new anti-freeze (of course) and a heater core for a fraction of what the shop wanted. Without this Chilton manual, I probably wouldn't have tackled the job.The photos, illustrations and tips showed me exactly what I needed to know to get the job done with the least effort, bruised knuckles and quarters in the cussing jar.I've tried other brand manuals and some of them, especially one certain publisher leave a lot to be desired. Other than factory shop manuals, all I'll buy again are Chilton manuals.As far as THIS copy goes, it was a used copy for a VERY cheap price. The book is in fine shape, especially for its age and was a library copy. I don't care, it still works, isn't all marked up or greasy.
